Music to Move You
Music has the ability to evoke a powerful emotional response in us. In fact, UC Berkeley Scientists conducted a study and found our experience of music can create 13 overarching feelings: amusement, joy, eroticism, beauty, relaxation, sadness, dreaminess, triumph, anxiety, scariness, annoyance, defiance, and feeling pumped up. When we are wanting to get more in touch with our emotions, we can use music as a vehicle to assist us. We can even use music as a vehicle to help us change from one emotion to another. It is no secret that we can be feeling great, hear a sad song and suddenly feel melancholy, and we can just as easily be feeling down, hear happy upbeat music and before we know it our mood has shifted.

As many of you work together to gain insight into yourselves and each other to create an amazing relationship, music can be a special part of the process.
